Photographic Services
I`m around and about with a camera most places that I go. `Never leave home without one` is a common phrase. In my case, it`s usually a camera. I do picture postcards in my local area – Kinghorn, Burntisland and Aberdour – so I`m always looking for a better photograph than the one before it, so that the views of these places are always changing, and new postcards replace ones that have been withdrawn, because they`ve been out and about for three or four years and I like to give the annual visitors something new to consider. It doesn`t matter the season, a camera is usually with me.
I also can`t wait for it to snow because I need new scenes for my local Christmas Cards, and if it snows here you have to be out early, for it will more than likely all have melted by lunchtime.
I enjoy photographing flowers. I have a project for this coming summer called `Aberdour in Bloom`. They have a village committee of that same name and I hope to produce a postcard exclusively for them. You can view my postcards at the Post Office and at Out of This World in the village. I`ve also photographed a few gardens belonging to customers of mine and have presented them with a record of their seasonal blooms from as soon as the first buds appear until it`s time for them to take them all out and think about the following year.
I`ve also been asked along to take photographs at private functions from time to time. I have a few regular customers who have me along annually. I can have their photographs ready the next day if need be. I`ve done a few commercial jobs along the way as well and am just about prepared to point a camera at anything.
For me, photography is more of a hobby than a business, and if you should need my photographic services, I`ll charge you only what YOU can afford. It`s negotiable, as far as I`m concerned.
